About the Series
During a summer camp, fifteen middle school children discover a mysterious man named Kokopelli who offers them a contract to pilot a giant robot called Zearth to protect Earth from alien invaders. What seems like a game quickly reveals its horrifying truth: each child who pilots Zearth will die after their battle. A devastating deconstruction of the mecha genre.
Why we're dubbing this: Bokurano is one of the most emotionally powerful and thematically rich anime ever made, yet it has never been dubbed. Its profound examination of mortality, sacrifice, and childhood deserves an English-language audience.
